A revolutionary new chocolate bar that reduces acne is set to hit Australian shelves.
Manufacturers of the Acne Care range say pimple-plagued sufferers will experience dramatic results within just two weeks of eating the chocolate.
Developed by US-based Frutels, the chocolate-coated treatment is believed to be the first of its kind.
Packed with antioxidants and micro-nutrients, the bars support the body’s defenses and clarify the skin from within, it is claimed.
Frutels recommend consumers eat between two and five chocolate bars a day for the fastest results.
Company figures reveal 73 per cent of people surveyed observed and improvement in their skin after taking just two bars per day for two weeks.
A company spokesman said: “This product takes beauty foods to another level by not only tackling acne in an ingestible form, but by using a food that has been associated with causing acne to make these claims.
“Chocolate has long been taboo for acne sufferers.”
The bars have swept the UK and US, prompting to move to the Australian market.
The bars cost about $40 for a months supply.

Foot Pampering

Pampered

I’m a woman who always wanted to have a healthy shoe fetish. I love pampering my feet once a week even not going on a salon. Soak, scrub and massage are all I can do. But how good it is the feeling when somebody does it for you? Gosh I really love it. All you have to do is sit back and relax. That is why I got a monthly schedule with my beautician to do my foot care. She is really good and her massage is the best. If I told her that my foot has a sore feeling, she will use her Hot N Cold Roller and it relieves tension and restores the comfort once again. She just simply was adding warm water to one end of the roller and cold water to the other end. Placing one end under the foot and roll for one minute before reversing the tube and repeating the rolling action made my heel pain gone right away.
I love walking a lot, my family used to walk a lot. Long period of walking makes our feet tired and sometimes aching. Especially we women love to wear high heeled sandals or shoes just to look sexy. It always happens to me and sometimes I opted to buy sleepers when I can’t take the pain of long walking. So right after arriving home, I’ll immediately remove my shoes and sit down while rising up my feet against the wall. It eases the uncomfortable feeling. But still nothing beats the Hot N Cold therapy treatment for sore feet. I really love the feeling and after such treatment my foot looks more beautiful. If I were you, I’ll do it for some times because it’s healthy. Love and care your foot. Because without it, you can’t go anywhere easily.

Would You For Surgery To Get The Perfection?

Posted by Joy-O | health and beauty | Tuesday 12 August 2008 11:31 pm

What can you say about those people especially women who go for surgery just to gain the perfection? Changing their looks and appearance? Some of you maybe will say, they are desperate! Wasting money for that nor even thinking of some people who suffer much because of poverty. Well, I have nothing against with people who undergo
cosmetic surgery because it’s their rights and that’s none of our business. Some people are bless or let’s just say they are capable of doing it. Most celebrities need it also to to make their career come more alive. There’s nothing bad in improving yourself? Some people wants a total confidence and maybe they want to experienced how to be pleasing in everyone’s sight.
It’s nice to be perfectly beautiful and if I will be given a chance to have cosmetic surgery, I wouldn’t say no! I mean I will think about it because for now, I am happy with what I have lol!. But always remember as I have mentioned before, cosmetic surgery is addicting. Once you found out the better outcome, you will for more. But if you have enough wealth to do it, just go but please mind to spend a single centavo for the people who are starving and very unfortunate. It’s one way of staying beautiful inside and out.

Bird Poo Facial Make Your Skin White

Posted by Joy-O | health and beauty | Tuesday 17 June 2008 4:52 am

Are you willing to put bird poo on your face if it delivered you a porcelain skin and invisible pores?
Many of you use an organic exfoliator that makes you look like you’ve planted your face in a bog.
Organic smells terrible and but you’ll see your skin will feel and look amazing afterwards.
These are just things many women are willing to do in the name of beauty. (see Kikay).
The nightingale droppings we’ve just learned Japanese women put on their face are, let’s be honest. likely to be nothing more than a pigeon poo.
But think about it. Women have been putting cucumbers on their eyes and mud on their bodies for centuries.
Not to mention the poisonous powders that sometimes killed. What’s little farces into the mix?
The cosmetic industry is an enormous booming beasts that uses nothing more than expensive trickery and beautiful airbrushed people to make women believe a cream will transform them.
Maybe you can’t get rid of the niggling hope that there is a magic cream out there somewhere that will make your skin perfect.
Bird poo facials to make your skin white may at first glance seem like a bizarre and obscure Japanese cultural thing but I’m sure they look at other’s tanning rituals as just as odd.
Think about this for a moment, girls (we know boys already see the folly in it): We stand in a booth in the nude getting sprayed with a liquid made of vegetable dye, sleep in it and make our sheets turn brown, all in order to achieve something that looks like a tan. Many of you do this weekly and pay through the nose for it.
Women’s beauty rituals are an will always be strange and mysterious. That’s part of our mystique. Men knows this, women often forget it.
But to me there is nothing wrong with wanting t be as beautiful as you can be and looking after yourself.
Bring on the bird poo, if that’s what makes your skin feel good.

Bald Solution

Hair-raising cells offer bald solution. Cells grown in a laboratory may offer a solution to hair loss, preliminary trials suggest.
The technique involves taking a small amounts of the remaining hair cells, multiplying them, then injecting them into bald areas.
Six months after treatment, 11 out of 19 patients had grown new hair, UK researchers told an Italian conference.
But a UK specialist said more work would be needed so the new hair looked right.
The new method, called “follicular cell implantation” and developed by British firm Intercytex, claims to be able to provide a limitless supply of replacement hair cells.
If trials show it to be safe and effective, it could be available within five years.
Doctors take only the dermal papilla cells, which are found in the follicle and are responsible for hair growth.
They are harvested from areas on the back of the head, bathed in a specially developed chemical and placed back into bald areas of the scalp.
“It will revolutionise hair care, I think,” said Intercytex’s scientific officer Dr Paul Kemp.
“People will use this when they are starting to go bald – they’ll come and see us, we’ll take a few dermal papilla cells, grow them up in the lab, freeze most of them, and inject some.”
“They can keep coming back as the balding process continues.
“I’m convinced it will work – it’s just a question of fine tuning the technique.
