One of my dream
When I was a little girl as little as 5years old I already dream to become a flight attendant. Whenever I saw an airplane I will look up and said that’s my airplane and then my friends were laughing. I said one day I’m going to ride that airplane and travel around the world and I will let you all ride with me guys. And then, they just said “wow really you’ll going to take us?” “Of course you’re all my friends!” That’s a funny cute memory of my childhood. Those times that I dream for something we can say only in the mind of a kid.
During my high school days, I take it seriously and told my Mom that I want to be a flight stewardess and after high school I will enroll in a flight attendant school. But Mom said, a flight attendant career is not an easy job because I will study all the language and it’s also dangerous because if an airplane will crash I will die early and she doesn’t want to lose me. So, doubts is all what I felt. That’s the start of me being confused on what career to pursue. I didn’t got an encouragement. But I understand why my Mom gives me that kind of discouragement. Because we can’t afford to pursue my dream. We can’t sustain with it financially. I tried to think of something to pursue but still an airplane always appear on my mind. Pursuing a flight attendant career is not anymore on my mind but I still dream to travel around the world with all the beautiful places. But before that, I will support whatever dream my kids want and let them focus on one thing that they truly desire to avoid confusion.

Joy, it's ok if you didn't fulfill your dreams of becoming a flight attendant. I think it's the best experience to fly on an aircraft. And I'm sure you did and will experience more flights in the future.
Ah, I faced somewhat the same issue. I started to pass that on to my kids too but after a while really have rejected the thought. Great post.
